Wanna know what this gracious baba makes with those flowers? She boils the petals in fresh water for a regenerative tea. It helps lower cholesterol and relieves stress.
Also try this to perk up the winter blahs — take pungent purple mustard greens and place them on a ham and cheese sandwich instead of mustard — add arugula, some great mayonnaise, and a sprinkled of fresh cracked pepper all layered between fresh, whole-wheat bread (of course preferably homemade but more on that in an upcoming post) with some sparkling water with lemon — and a delicious lunch can be had by all.
For the veggies out there substitute roasted red peppers for the ham. Actually even more delicious. Yum!
